About Damon

Multiple Supercross & Outdoor wins!
At age 16, Bradshaw won six series events and captured the AMA Eastern Region 125cc Championship title for 1989. That same year, Damon proved that he was more
than an outstanding Supercross champion as he managed to grab five outdoor
motocross wins.
2-Time Motocross des Nations Winning Team Member
Between 1990 and 1997, Bradshaw won a combined 35 AMA Supercross and AMA
Outdoor National events as well as multiple wins in Canada, Japan and throughout
Europe. Perhaps his most prestigious honor was being selected in 1990 & 1991 to
represent the United States at the Motocross des Nations race in Sweden and The
Netherlands. This annual event is considered by experts to be the pinnacle event in motocross. Damon’s gritty riding and never give up attitude helped Team USA bring home the gold.
Motocross Legend
Damon has worked hard his entire career to be the best he can possibly be. Because
of his work ethic, Damon has become a motocross legend. Fans young and old
continue to recognize Damon and clamor to see him. Damon is thankful for what he
has accomplished and takes the time to acknowledge every fan that approaches
him. Even years after his retirement from racing, the mere mention of the name
Bradshaw continues to stir a crowd-as was evident recently during his overwhelming reception and win at the 2008 U.S. Open Supercross in Las Vegas.
Family
Damon his wife Angela and sons, Dalton (10) and Copeland (6) live a life not to far
remove from the hectic pace of professional motocross. Bradshaw’s routine may
have changed but the spark that brought him fame still burns brightly. Adrenaline
fixes once provided by screaming factory bikes have been replaced with truck racing
and the massive destruction of freestyle in a 10,000 pound Monster truck named the US Air Force Afterburner.
The Future
Currently, Damon is training to compete in the EnduroCross Series and has been
involved with research and development of many new products in the motorcycle
industry. His expertise in testing has aided in the design of innovative safety gear,
including boots and most importantly neck braces. Damon will also be defending his
Freestyle Championship in the 2010 Monster Jam series driving the Air Force
Afterburner. You can find Damon at his local track riding and often coaching his two sons. Damon’s dedication to the sport continues and perhaps we will see a new
Bradshaw legacy is in the future. |
